Richard Harris is a Pastor, multi-business owner and father . As founder and lead Pastor, he has helped grow the Consuming Fire into a international ministry through online streaming of services, and through the Impact Network. Sorrentia Teleice Harris, affectionately known as “Teleice” to her family and friends, is the Co Pastor and Co Founder of Consuming Fire Ministries International. Pastor Richard and Sorrentia have a strong prophetic anointing to speak powerful anointed words to destroy the works of the devil through the power of Jesus. Richard and Sorrentia live in the metro Detroit area with their sons; Richard, Isaiah, and Denard. And their only daughter, Jasmin.

What
WE BELIEVE
1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God (II Timothy 3:16)
2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. (Matthew 28:19)
3. We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in the blessed hope of His personal visible future return to this earth to receive to himself, His blood bought church, that it may be with Him forever. (Luke 1:26-36, I Corinthians 15:1-4, John 14:2-3, I Thessalonians 4:13-18)
4. We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. (Hebrew 9:12 and 22)
5. We believe that regeneration of the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit and the manifestation of His gifts. (Acts 2:1-4; 10:44-46, I Corinthians 12-14, Romans 8:1-17 and 12)
6. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is able to live a Holy life. (II Corinthians 6:14, 7:1, Romans 6:13)
7. We believe in the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing to the human body. (Matthew 4:23, 18:20, I Peter 2:24)
8. We believe in the resurrection of the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and other to everlasting damnation. (Matthew 19:27-30, Romans 5:6-21, Galatians 6:8, I Corinthians 15:50-58)

9. We believe in the offices and gifts of the five-fold ministry for equipping and maturing the Church - Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers. (Acts 6:3-6, Ephesians 4:1-6, I Timothy 3:1-13, I Peter 5:1-4)

12. We believe that there is one universal church, which is composed of many local churches. Each church abides under the sovereign headship of Christ and is responsible for faithful stewardship. (Matthew 16:18, Acts 15:22, Colossians 1:28 and 24) ​
